On the same day, the women’s four event saw an outstandingperformance of the Singaporean gold medalist team, who secured 5,059 points intotal. Players of Malaysia and Indonesia respectively earned 4,951 and 4,843points for the second and third places.
Singapore was the most successful nation in four-day competitionof the sport, winning gold medals in all three women’s events, one silver inthe men’s doubles, and three bronze in women’s singles, men’s doubles, and men’sfour.
