The rescue operation was carried out by the forces of the Con Dao National Park Management Board in cooperation with Con Dao Resort Company, following separate discoveries on the morning of May 7 along Dat Doc beach within the Six Senses Con Dao resort.
About 30 sea turtles hatched on a beach in Nhon Hai commune of Quy Nhon city, the south central province of Binh Dinh, on July 8 under the close supervision of a group of local volunteers, reported the Binh Dinh online newspaper.
A campaign named “Save The Ocean” was launched on Con Dao island in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on November 8 to raise fund for habitat conservation of sea turtles.
