Seminar focuses on developing corporate leadership

Better access to information, team work, and customer service, were among the topics discussed at a seminar on business leadership organised in the central city of Da Nang on August 26.

The seminar, themed “Challenges and opportunities in developing leadership among Vietnamese entrepreneurs and a prosperous business community”,
was jointly held by the Da Nang Investment Promotion Centre, the US-Vietnam Trade Council and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce (ODC) of the US .

At the event, leading US experts on corporate management and local business leaders shared skills and experience on successfully leading an enterprise and improving business operations in the current economic climate.

The participants also discussed opportunities and challenges in developing leadership among Vietnamese in different sectors.

According to Jeffrey S. Horvath, Director of the Entrepreneurial Education Foundation, to develop business operations, Vietnamese corporate leaders should increase their access to information and their capacity for team work, focussed on benefitting customers, to create a pro-active working environment./.
