Tu delivered an outstandingperformance to beat Jumakulyyeva Ayna of Turkmenistan in the final.Earlier, she beat Mathew Poorva Kanjira from the Independent OlympicAthletes group in the semi-finals.
In the billiardscompetition, Nguyen Quoc Nguyen the same day seized a silver medal inthe men's 3 cushion single discipline.

Nguyen lost 39-40 to Umeda Ryuji of Japan in the final match.

In the semi-finals, he defeated another Japanese, Takeshima O 40-33.

In the same event, Ma Xuan Cuong brought home a bronze medal after he lost 32-40 to Umeda in the semi-final.

In the dance sport event, Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen and Nguyen Hai Anhgrabbed two bronze medals for the standard-tango and standard-quickstepdisciplines.

Most Vietnamese martial artists won quarter-finals in the kick-boxing event on July 4.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai bested Sergelenbayar Myadagmaa of Mongolia in thewomen's U56kg full contact; Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung defeated KarimovaIronakhon of Uzbekistan in the women's U52kg low kick; Nguyen Van Subeat Kuchmuradov Jakhongir of Uzbekistan in the men's U74kg pointfighting and Phan Van Minh overcame Ganza Ruslan of Kazakhstan in themen's U81kg low kick.

However, in the men's U63kg point fighting, Nguyen Hoang Hiep lost to Abdiraimov Azamat of Uzbekistan.-VNA

ASEAN Para Games 13: Vietnam adds athletics gold
