Vietnam’s women have successfully held on to second position in the sepak takraw world rankings after coming third in the Super Series tournament in Palembang, Indonesia which ended on Feb. 27.
Although beaten by the Indonesian team in the semi-finals, the Vietnamese team scored 175 points, raising their total to 725 and clinching the runners up spot after Thailand who romped home in first place with 1,000 points.
After coming second in the tournament, the women from the Republic of Korea collected 200 extra points to increase their total score to 665 points and secure third position./.
