Serbian Assistant Foreign Minister Goran Aleksic made the statementduring his visit to ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia on September19.

At the reception for the Serbian diplomat, DeputySecretary General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs A.K.P.Mochtan spoke highly of his visit, saying it manifests the country’scommitments to intensifying cooperation with the regional bloc as wellas its member states.

He affirmed the secretariat is willing to help push up the relations between Serbia and ASEAN in the future.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral, regional and internationalissues of common concern, agreeing to seek ways to boost cooperation ineconomics, trade and investment while enhancing cultural exchange andmutual understanding between the two sides’ peoples.-VNA
