Singapore hosts 13 gastronomic events

This year’s Singapore Food Festival, its biggest one yet, is held from July 20 to August 2, featuring 13 gastronomic events across the country, according to the Singapore Tourism Board.
This year’s Singapore Food Festival, its biggest one yet, is held from July 20 to August 2, featuring 13 gastronomic events across the country, according to the Singapore Tourism Board.

The annual festival will be centred at the 51 Old Airport Road Food Centre, one of Singapore’s oldest food centres, in Kallang.

The food centre has become popular over the years and hosted more than 150 food stalls to date.

Foodies to the event will be able to enjoy not only local signature foods and drinks but also cuisine from all over the world created by top chefs.

The festival is part of the “SG50” celebration that marks the country’s 50 th year of independence.-VNA
