The move is expected to encourage other countries to import chicken from Thailand.


Singapore has been a high potential market for Thai chicken and other products as its imported frozen chicken worth around 250 million USD per year from Thailand.


However, Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce has warned its chicken exporters that they will face fierce competition in the world market, urging them to focus on processed chicken products.-VNA
