Former Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, who was hospitalised for severe pneumonia on February 5, is now in stable condition, confirmed the Prime Minister's Office.
He is receiving breathing assistance but the 91-year-old is “conscious and lightly sedated”, it said.
The former leader’s involvement in public events in recent months has been limited due to his poor health, having previously been admitted to the hospital for a minor stroke in 2013 and for an infection in 2014.
