Speaking at the 8 th session of the South Africa-Cuba JointConsultative Mechanism that concluded on July 29 in South Africa’scapital city of Pretoria, South African Deputy Minister of InternationalRelations and Cooperation E. Ebrahim highlighted that the two countrieshave agreed to boost cooperation to a new height, especially ineconomy, trade and investment, in line with their developing politicalrelations over the past 16 years.
Ebrahim stressedthat Cuba is one of strategic partners of South Africa in the Caribbeanand Latin America and the two nations are implementing specificcooperation programmes in their own strong fields and building long-termcooperative strategies for mutual development./.
