A striker of Brazilian origin, Huynh Kesley Alves, who is playing for Becamex Binh Duong, has won the Golden Boot Award.
The awards ceremony will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on January 20, the organisers announced on January 11.
Kesley, who became a Vietnamese citizen in early 2009, scored 17 goals last year and won 57 points from the awards jury.
His team mate, Nguyen Vu Phong bagged the Bronze Boot while the silver one went to Hoang Dinh Tung from Thanh Hoa Cement.
The top ten Vietnamese strikers last year also include familiar names like Le Cong Vinh, Nguyen Quang Hai, Nguyen Trong Hoang, Pham Van Quyen and Thach Bao Khanh./.
