Vietnamese swimmers will take part in the Malaysia Open in preparationfor the Shanghai World Swimming Championships and the London Olympicsheld in 2012.
Five national swimmers including Nguyen Huu Viet, Pham Thanh Nguyen, VoThai Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Anh Vien and Le Thi My Thao, will be Vietnam's official representatives.
The team left for Kuala Lumpur on May 9, two days before the opening ceremony, which will conclude on May 18.
After the Malaysia Open, selected members of the national team willleave for intensive training in Kunming , China , and will only returnto Vietnam when the 26th Southeast Asian Games kicks off inIndonesia in November. /.
