According to China Customs, in the first half of 2025, China imported 1.35 billion USD worth of fruits from Vietnam, totaling nearly 1.37 million tonnes. Vietnam currently ranks as China’s largest fruit supplier, accounting for 13.6% of China’s total fruit import value and 28.7% of total import volume.

The agriculture sector enjoyed a trade surplus of 8.8 billion USD in the first 11 months of this year, 1.5 billion USD higher than the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
