On the morning of September 1, 2025, Madam Ngo Phuong Ly, spouse of Party General Secretary To Lam, and Madam Lis Cuesta Peraza, spouse of First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, visited Ngoc Son Temple and enjoyed a water puppet performance at the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre.
