From July 1, Ho Chi Minh City will waive fares on 134 bus routes, including 109 subsidised and 25 non-subsidised services, with the policy remaining in effect through the end of 2026.
The move follows the approval of the national project on low-emission crop production for 2025–2035, with a vision to 2050. The initiative is now being actively implemented across the country, with local authorities playing a key role in turning policy into action.
From July 1, the city will cover the full ticket cost for passengers using 134 operating bus routes, comprising 109 subsidised by the municipal budget and 25 non-subsidised ones.
