Thailand steps up support for coconut farmers amid domestic oversupply
The Department of Foreign Trade of Thailand has asked importers and coconut milk producers to temporarily reduce imports and give priority to purchasing domestic coconuts.

Exports of coconut-based products are sluggish due to challenges and difficulties facing the coconut processing industry and coconut cultivation, according to the Agricultural Promotion Centre of the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre.
