The Vietnam News Agency on June 19 officially launched “Chuyen dong so” (Digital Transformation Updates), its first specialised information platform dedicated to science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing on June 1 as part of the latter’s five-day visit to India, aimed at advancing bilateral relations in security, defence, trade, connectivity, energy and emerging technologies.
The two sides agreed to establish a joint task force to formalise their collaboration, with a strong focus on quantum technology, a strategic frontier of the digital age, and AI-powered solutions to help Vietnamese SMEs enhance their competitiveness and modernise their operations.
Vietnam is highly interested in and wishes to strengthen partnerships with Austrian hi-tech companies, helping it make breakthrough in science, technology, and digital transformation, said Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang.
PM Pham Minh Chinh emphasised the importance of embracing new technologies, sharing that the development of science and technology is an objective requirement, a strategic choice, and a top priority of Vietnam.
