Hai Phong tops new FTA Index, opens door to global capital
Hai Phong scored 35.62 out of 40, well above the national average of 21.66. It was followed by Tuyen Quang with 33.61, Thanh Hoa with 30.93, Vinh Long with 29.33 and Ca Mau with 29.10.

Trade ministry to publish FTA Index, facilitate utilisation of free trade deals
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) is focusing on improving provinces and cities’ capabilities in helping local businesses take advantage of free trade agreements such as the UKVFTA and EVFTA by issuing an FTA Index by the end of 2023.
FTA Index to be released at the close of 2023
The free trade agreement index (FTA Index) will be released by year’s end to evaluate their effectiveness in provinces, cities, and localities, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Department of Multilateral Trade Policy.
