As part of the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2026, the artistic parade “Lotus takes to the street” brought together around 2,000 participants dressed in lotus-themed Ao dai, setting a new record for the largest-ever lotus Ao dai parade and creating one of the festival's standout events.
Held from June 26 to 28 around West Lake, the festival featured a vibrant programme of cultural performances, exhibitions, hands-on experiences and tourism promotion activities, helping showcase Hanoi as a safe, friendly and culturally rich destination.
The Hanoi Lotus Festival 2026 officially opened on June 26 under the theme Colours of Hanoi Lotus, celebrating not only the flower’s beauty but also the rich cultural heritage built around it over generations.
The festival is part of Hanoi's strategy to boost its cultural industries by transforming cultural heritage into a driver of socio-economic development while preserving and promoting the city's traditional cultural values.
