This is the first official visit to Singapore by a Permanent Member of the CPV Central Committee’s Secretariat. It also features the first meeting of the Vietnam - Singapore strategic dialogue mechanism, agreed by the two sides’ leaders during General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and President To Lam’s state visit to Singapore in May.
He expressed his belief that, with their competence, prestige and extensive experience, Lao leaders will continue to lead the country in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress and the 10th five-year socio-economic development plan (2026–2030), building a peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Laos along socialist-oriented lines.
