A groundbreaking ceremony for the strategically significant Hanoi–Quang Ninh high-speed railway project will take place on April 12 at the Ha Long Xanh Station site in Quang Ninh province.
The Hanoi-Quang Ninh high-speed railway will become one of only two high-speed railway lines in the country, alongside the 1,541km North-South line from Ngoc Hoi Station in Hanoi to Thu Thiem Station in Ho Chi Minh City.
The railway will span approximately 419 kilometres, starting from the border rail link in Lao Cai and ending at Lach Huyen Station in Hai Phong. The project’s total investment exceeds 203 trillion VND (7.69 billion USD).
