To mark the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025), and in celebration of the upcoming 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site Management Board, in collaboration with Hanoi’s Department of Culture and Sports, has launched a special exhibition titled “Sharp Pens, Loyal Hearts”.

In honor of the 77th Anniversary of Vietnamese War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), the exhibition "Lighting up the Red Flame" is now on display at the historic Hoa Lo Prison site in Hanoi. The images and artifacts portraying the enduring love stories of revolutionary soldiers have deeply moved visitors.

To fully tap the capital city’s tourism potential, many destinations of Hanoi have been promoted stimulus programmes to lure more visitors such as night tours at Hoa Lo Prison, besides many others tours are expected to be introduced in December 2020.

Another night tour of Hanoi’s historic Hoa Lo Prison has made debut, taking visitors on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Hoa Lo Prison relic site, known in French as Maison Centrale (meaning central prison), is an attraction in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem district.
