This year’s festival will feature more than 100 booths and 70 street food stalls. A survey by booking.com shows that around 33% of Vietnamese respondents are planning short domestic trips for the upcoming Hung Kings Commemoration Day and Reunification Day (April 30)–May Day (May 1) holidays, while 22% are opting for longer international journeys compared to last year.
The event has been an annual activity for the Vietnamese community in Thailand over the past eight years.

Across Vietnam, there are 1,417 monuments to the Hung Kings and their family, generals, and other figures from the Hung Kings era.
The events aim to educate the tradition of patriotism and gratitude to the Hung Kings and ancestors who contributed to building and protecting the nation; as well as contribute to popularising tourism and local cultural heritage towards promoting tourism and economic development in the province.
