The community of more than six million overseas Vietnamese is increasingly recognised as an inseparable part of the nation and an important resource for strengthening Vietnam's friendship and cooperation with countries around the world, said Pham Khanh Nam, Editor-in-Chief of the Huong Viet magazine.

A special cultural programme titled “Huong sac Viet” (The Essence and Colours of Vietnam) was held on June 28–29 as part of Sommerfest, the largest multicultural festival in Augsburg city, Bavaria state, Germany.

Established with the mission of being a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Germany, for the last 15 years, Huong Viet, an online magazine of Vietnamese people in Germany, has kept promoting its role and maintaining its position as a leading Vietnamese electronic information site in Germany.

An event promoting Vietnam’s culture and tourism was recently held at a multicultural festival in Augsburg in Germany’s Bavaria state.

Huong Viet, an online magazine of the Vietnamese community in Germany, on September 12 joined a multicultural festival in Augsburg in the southern state of Bayern, on the occasion of the 45th founding anniversary of Vietnam – Germany diplomatic ties (September 23).

Vietnamese Culture Festival - Huong Viet 2019 has been held in Germany’s Augsburg city, introducing Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and tourism to German friends and international visitors.
