New cruise route linking Ha Long and Lan Ha Bays launched

The launch of a new cruise service connecting Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province and Lan Ha Bay in neighbouring Hai Phong city marks a significant step in enhancing regional connectivity and promoting the conservation and value of the UNESCO-recogniaed Ha Long Bay – Cat Ba Archipelago.

Sea tour launched to connect Ha Long, Lan Ha bays

The new passenger transport scheme, jointly implemented by the two localities, is designed to facilitate seamless travel across the heritage zone and materialise their cooperation commitments following UNESCO’s recognition of the Ha Long Bay–Cat Ba Archipelago complex.

ABAC meeting expected to help Hai Phong promote image

Six memorandums of understanding (MoUs) will be signed in the fields of infrastructure and urban development on this occasion. In addition, Hai Phong will grant investment licences to 23 major projects with a total registered capital of approximately 15 billion USD.

The site received UNESCO recognition as a world biosphere reserve in 2004. Its Lan Ha Bay was among the most beautiful bays of the world, housing hundreds of magnificent mountains and ancient caves.
