Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said Vietnam–New Zealand relations have continued to grow strongly, with substantive cooperation in numerous areas and further expansion in education and agriculture, generating fresh momentum for bilateral ties.

During his official visit from February 25-28, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon will meet with Vietnamese leaders, discussing ways to enhance the strategic partnership as well as methods for bilateral cooperation.
Vietnam and New Zealand agreed to enhance political trust through more bilateral exchanges and consultations, strengthen defence and security cooperation, and strongly implement practical measures to facilitate market access for each other's products, aiming to reach the trade target of 3 billion USD.
