The “Vietnam Day in Skopje 2026” event has been held in the heart of Skopje, bringing Vietnam’s cultural heritage and contemporary image closer to the people of North Macedonia and international visitors.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria and North Macedonia Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet proposed expanding cooperation in culture, education, and tourism, stressing that that Vietnam stands ready to be a bridge to strengthen North Macedonia’s relations with other ASEAN countries.
The fire on early March 16 left 59 dead and 155 others injured.
Vietnam and North Macedonia have enjoyed sound relations over the past 30 years with fruitful results seen in all cooperation areas, said Vietnamese Ambassador to the Southeast European country Do Hoang Long.
