As part of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to Kuwait, his spouse Le Thi Bich Tran joined several cultural and social activities.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation pay an official visit to Kuwait from November 16–18, 2025. This is the first visit by a Vietnamese leader to Kuwait in 16 years, taking place as the two countries prepare to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties in January 2026.

On the afternoon of 16 November 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at Kuwait International Airport, starting an official visit to Kuwait at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al Sabah. 

This is the first visit by a high-level Vietnamese leader to Kuwait in 16 years, taking place at a time when the two countries are preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in January 2026, Vietnamese Ambassador to Kuwait Nguyen Duc Thang said, stressing that the time is ripe for both countries to consolidate and deepen their bilateral relationship, elevating it to new heights and making practical contributions to each country’s development goals.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is paying an official visit to Kuwait from October 26 – 27, the first trip to the Middle East nation by a Vietnamese leader in 10 years, which is expected to help solidify the countries’ relations.
