A spring food festival was recently held at a Lao-Vietnamese bilingual school in Vientiane to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 and the success of the Party Congresses in both Vietnam and Laos. The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam, along with representatives of the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports.
The Party committees and organisations must focus on preparations for the 14th National Party Congress, including refining the draft documents to be submitted to the 15th meeting of the Party Central Committee, based on feedback from all-level Party congresses, National Assembly deputies, intellectuals, scientists, and the public.
The Politburo and Secretariat stated that the Party congresses for the 2025–2030 tenure were held in line with the set plans and requirements outlined in the Politburo’s Directive 45-CT/TW, as well as other instructions and guidelines from the Party Central Committee.
Resolutions passed at all-level Party congresses must prove practical and feasible, which the Party leader described as the most critical trait of a “good resolution”.
To meet demands for accurate, comprehensive, objective, rich, and dynamic information on the 14th National Party Congress, the Vietnam News Agency will continue equipping the website with new features and regularly update news and data, supporting the effective popularisation of this key political event.
