Presenting the decision, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, who is also Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Chairman of the National Defence and Security Council, said the promotion reflects the Party, State and people's trust in the armed forces and recognises Duc's contributions to the development of the People's Public Security force and national defence.
Through a series of display areas, visitors can explore notable scientific and technological achievements of the People's Public Security Force in safeguarding national security in cyberspace. The exhibition also provides information on common forms of online fraud and cyber scams, along with practical guidance on how to identify and prevent them.
Party General Secretary and State President To Lam noted that as Vietnam advances into a new stage of development with greater security challenges, the requirement of safeguarding national security is becoming higher and more comprehensive. This places new responsibilities on the academy, not only in training officers with strong political mettle, professional competence and absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, but also in nurturing digital literacy, innovative thinking, lifelong learning capacity, adaptability, global cooperation skills and digital citizenship.
Bac noted that under the guidance of senior leaders of both countries, Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior have cooperated closely to protect national security, maintain a peaceful and stable border, and fight various crimes.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, the headquarters project at 96 Nguyen Du is a key work, symbolising the modernisation of its infrastructure in line with the Politburo's Resolution No. 12. Party General Secretary To Lam laid the groundwork for the project since its first steps and guided throughout its implementation process.
