Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu underlined the need to further enhance the role of People’s Councils in controlling power at the local level, especially as Vietnam promotes a two-tier local administration model alongside stronger decentralisation and delegation of authority.
The 16th National Assembly (NA) will consider key personnel matters at its first session, including the election of the NA Chairperson, State President, and Prime Minister.
The two sides agreed on the direction of future cooperation, concentrating on policy research and consultation, personnel training, digital transformation and child-related data, as well as joint organisation of international workshops and seminars.
With its breakthrough solutions, Resolution 68 is expected to unlock the potential and creativity of the private sector economy, contributing to the country’s sustainable development.
