Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc chaired a meeting of the 2026 Amnesty Advisory Council in Hanoi on May 24, calling for the public, transparent and prudent assessment of every case proposed for amnesty in 2026.
The Vietnamese Party and State consistently attach the highest priority to the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos, said Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc.
The national airport system planning was approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 648/QD-TTg dated June 7, 2023. Under the planning, 30 airports (14 international and 16 domestic) are to be developed during the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050 expanding the network to 33 airports (14 international and 19 domestic).
