During the 2025–2026 dry season, Tay Ninh's recovery teams K70, K71 and K73 conducted searches across eight Cambodian provinces and repatriated 511 sets of remains despite limited information and challenging conditions.

The total comprises 466 sets of remains recovered in Vietnam, 174 in Laos, and 850 in Cambodia.

The DNA data will be cross-referenced with a database of relatives’ genetic profiles, a step toward identifying the fallen and ending decades of uncertainty for families awaiting word of their loved ones.
