The island commune of Tam Hai in Da Nang city is home to the nationally recognised scenic site of Ban Than – Hon Mang – Hon Dua, a unique geological formation dating back around 400 million years, distinguished by its striking black rock strata.

A group of 25 volunteers from Da Nang Technology College and other colleges have begun their efforts to transform a fishing village of Tam Hai Island into an art space for tourism development.
