President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and President of the Council of State of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández expressed his hope that enterprises, including Sumitomo Group - the investor of Thang Long Industrial Park in Vietnam - will visit, explore the investment environment, and eventually participate in industrial park infrastructure development in Cuba.

COT Group, one of Singapore's major corporations in the field of electronic and electro-optical technology, has a plan to expand investment in Thang Long Industrial Park II in the northern province of Hung Yen, the group's representative announced on May 31 at a working session with the provincial People’s Committee.

The northern province of Hung Yen will cooperate with Japan's Sumitomo Corporation in the implementation of the third phase of Thang Long Industrial Park II expansion project under a memorandum of understanding exchanged on November 25 within the framework of the official visit to Japan by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

A new MILO producing factory of the Nestlé Vietnam Group opened in Thang Long II Industrial Park in the northern province of Hung Yen on May 18.
