Participants noted that younger generations are not only a witness to the traditional friendship between the two countries but also its inheritor and future builder.

The forum provides an opportunity to reflect on the fine traditions between the two countries' relations, thus encouraging younger generations to deepen understanding and contribute their enthusiasm and wisdom to growing the “tree of friendship” between China and Vietnam.

PM Pham Minh Chinh said he hopes that the Chinese Ministry of Veterans Affairs will bolster cooperation with Vietnamese agencies to raise public awareness of the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Participants in the special gathering in Hanoi, including past and present students who have learned in the two countries, reflected on their experiences and the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and China.
