This is the first time an international fundraising campaign of the Vietnam Red Cross Society has attracted millions of donations and hundreds of billions of Vietnamese dong in such a short time, said an official of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
Secretary of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba Homero Acosta Álvarez highlighted the cooperative ties with Vietnam’s legislature, describing them as a unique inter-parliamentary relationship in the world.
The contest, titled “Cuba – Vietnam: amistad sin fronteras” (Cuba – Vietnam: friendship without borders) drew 454 submissions from Cuban students aged 6 to 14 across 59 primary and secondary schools.
