During a working session with Cuban Vice Minister of Higher Education Reynaldo Veláquez Zaldivar, the two sides discussed coordination to support Cuba in printing and distributing books in the coming period, while enhancing information exchange and sharing experience in the publishing sector.

The book, entitled "65 Years of Fostering the Exemplary and Loyal Friendship between Vietnam and Cuba", was jointly compiled and published by the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House and the Embassy of Cuba in Vietnam.
Launched on August 13 and running until October 16, the programme initially aimed to raise at least 65 billion VND to help Cuban people overcome current difficulties. Remarkably, the target was met within just 30 hours after the national launching ceremony in Hanoi through both traditional and online donation channels.
President Cuong affirmed Vietnam’s determination to deepen and enhance cooperation with Cuba in all fields, particularly trade and investment, capitalising on the strengths of both sides.
