This marks the first time a Vietnamese Prime Minister has participated in a UNOC. It is also PM Chinh’s first official visit to France since the two countries upgraded their ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in October 2024.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a Vietnam-France business forum on November 4 in the framework of his official visit to France and witnessed the exchange of 29 cooperative agreements between ministries, sectors, organisations and companies of Vietnam and partners from France and some European countries.

Vietnamese and French enterprises gathered at a business forum in Ho Chi Minh City on September 7 to seek measures to boost their partnerships, contributing to the sustainable development in Vietnam.
