Prime Minister receives Deputy US Trade Representative

The Vietnamese Government will continue to work closely with the US side to soon finalise the agreement, thereby further deepening economic, trade, and investment cooperation as the main driving force for bilateral relations, said Prime Minister Le Minh Hung.

Vietnam, US join efforts in dioxin cleanup, disability aid

Launched in 2021 across six provinces and cities, the Bien Hoa Air Base Dioxin Remediation Project has already supported more than 32,000 people with disabilities, including AO/dioxin victims, meeting over 60% of its targets. It will soon be extended to Ca Mau and Quang Ngai provinces.

US Ambassador highlights pillars of US - Vietnam cooperation

Knapper described the Joint Statement on the upgrade of bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in September 2023, signed by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Joe Biden, as a "historic achievement", with both sides valuing collaboration in high technology, particularly semiconductors.
