The number of Vietnamese students in China has risen to about 25,000, more than double the 11,299 recorded in 2018, reflecting both the appeal of Chinese education and Vietnam’s demand for highly skilled human resources.
From China to France and the Republic of Korea, the legacy of President Ho Chi Minh continues to inspire people across generations and cultures. Marking the 136th anniversary of his birth, scholars, overseas Vietnamese communities and local residents reflected on how his ideals of independence, resilience and humanity still carry global relevance today.
The forum also focused on the role and responsibilities of Vietnamese and Chinese youth in steadfastly upholding and creatively applying the path of national independence associated with socialism in the present context.
