On educational cooperation, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh praised long-standing collaboration in training, research and academic exchanges, noting that the Vietnamese language now is taught at around 30 universities across China.

Addressing the High-Level Thematic Dialogue at ASEAN–China Week 2025 in Fujian on November 17, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh stressed that the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has continued to expand in recent years, contributing to regional peace and stability.

The Vietnamese ambassador suggested the two sides press on with collaboration in such areas as mutual legal assistance in civil and criminal matters, training of judicial workers, and management of lawyers and notaries.

The Vietnamese Party and State highly value the consolidation and strengthening of traditional friendship and cooperation with Chinese counterparts, considering it a top priority and a strategic choice in Vietnam’s foreign policy, said newly-appointed Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh.

Different festive activities were held in China and Cambodia on January 9 for the Vietnamese communities that live in both countries to celebrate the 2023 Lunar New Year (Tet).
