Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi said climate change and energy transition have become urgent global challenges while also serving as key drivers of green growth and economic competitiveness.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam – Guyana diplomatic ties, Ambassador Bui Van Nghi described the milestone as an opportunity for both sides to deepen political trust, broaden cooperation in potential areas, and make positive contributions to peace, cooperation and sustainable development in the regions and beyond.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed Vietnamese representative agencies in China and the Philippines to proactively coordinate with local authorities to secure safe harbour for Vietnamese vessels, support rescue operations and ship repairs if necessary, said its spokeswoman Pham Thu Hang.
