Informing the guest on Vietnam’s priorities in socio-economic development and transport infrastructure, the Deputy FM called on SNCF to continue close coordination in supporting Vietnam’s railway industry development, particularly in high-quality workforce training, technology transfer, experience sharing, and improving policy-making and investment management capacity.
The “Lyon – Ho Chi Minh City” exhibition showcases 14 large-format photographs by Adrien Jean, a French photographer living in Ho Chi Minh City, and Tony Noel, a French-Vietnamese photographer based in Lyon. The works are displayed along the exterior wall of the French Residence at 6 Le Duan street, making art accessible to a wide public - from passers-by to photography enthusiasts.
Vietnamese Ambassador to France Trinh Duc Hai highlighted the need to effectively implement the joint declaration elevating bilateral ties to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with priority given to cooperation in defence-security, energy transition and transport infrastructure.
The two leaders expressed their determination to further strengthen Vietnam–France relations, positioning each country as a bridge for the other in Asia and Europe.
It holds special significance for the bilateral relations, especially following the upgrade of the ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership in October 2024 during Party General Secretary To Lam's official visit to the European country.
