Secretary of the Can Tho Party Committee Le Quang Tung proposed expanding collaboration in education and training, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, during his meeting with Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Tshering Wangchuk Sherpa.
Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Tshering W. Sherpa identified emerging areas for cooperation, including information and communications technology, innovation, science and technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, pharmaceuticals, and transport and connectivity. India, he noted, stands ready to work closely with Vietnam to explore and realise these opportunities for the mutual benefit of both societies.
Over the past decade, the Vietnam–India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has made strong progress, becoming increasingly substantive and comprehensive.
In a message posted on social media platform X, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he is confident that under Party General Secretary and State President To Lam's leadership, the time-tested friendship between our two countries will continue to grow from strength to strength.
