The exhibition showcased nearly 30 standout images handpicked from VNA’s extensive archives and shot by its domestic photojournalists and resident correspondents in Vientiane, vividly illustrating the deep-rooted and unwavering ties between the two Parties, States, and peoples.
Co-chaired by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Lao counterpart Sonexay Siphandone, this year’s meeting reaffirms the highest level of political commitment to nurturing the unique Vietnam–Laos relationship and to strengthening the committee as the key platform for addressing issues, coordinating policies and advancing joint development.
In the first quarter of 2025, Vietnam-Laos trade reached 980.1 million USD, a surge of 105.5% compared to the same period in 2024. Exports from Vietnam valued at 346.4 million USD, representing soaring 138.6%. Meanwhile, imports from Laos rose by 91.1% to 633.6 million USD.
