Now in its second year, the festival builds on the success of its inaugural edition in 2025 and aims to establish "Yen Tu – The Meditative Hues of Autumn" as Quang Ninh's signature cultural – tourism brand.
The four-day festival, running through April 25, commemorates the historic victories on the Bach Dang River in 938, 981 and 1288 – landmark battles that symbolise Vietnam’s resilience and military ingenuity.
Tay Yen Tu is not just a festival space, but a place where the fundamental values that have shaped the character and enduring vitality of the Vietnamese people, especially patriotism and the aspiration for peace, converge and spread, a local official said.
The complex is assessed as a unified and interconnected heritage space that fully reflects the formation, development and far-reaching influence of Vietnam’s unique cultural and spiritual values.
