Orientations for promoting gender equality in development were tabled at a workshop hosted by the Australia Embassy in Hanoi on May 15.

The Ministry of Transport and the Australian Government on February 9 signed an agreement to launch Aus4Transport, a 24 million USD programme for the development of transport projects in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese and Australia governments on March 31 held their High-Level Consultations on Development Co-operation to discuss results of their long-term development co-operation and the importance of its transformation into an economic partnership.
