Thousands of runners from across the world will participate in the VPBank Hanoi Marathon ASEAN 2020 (VPHM) on October 18.

Close to 7,000 people have registered to participate in the VPBank Hanoi Marathon ASEAN 2020, the Vietnam Sports Administration under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism unveiled on September 23.

The 2020 Manulife Da Nang International Marathon will return to the central coastal city from August 7 to 9, with the message “Vietnam Can”.

The Manulife Danang International Marathon 2020 will be held at Bien Dong Park in the central city of Da Nang on August 9.

he annual Longbien Marathon 2019 (LBM 2019) will be held on October 27 with the participation of nearly 6,000 athletes.

A ceremony to start the VPBank Hanoi Marathon was held in the heart of Hanoi on October 20, with 7,000 professional and amateur athletes taking part, over 1,500 of them foreigners.

The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become an official international marathon tournament in the capital city, the organising board told a press conference in Hanoi on October 16.

Vietnamese runner Nguyen Linh Chi completed the 2019 Boston Marathon on April 16.

The VnExpress Marathon 2019 will be held for the first time in the coastal city of Quy Nhon in the south-central province of Binh Dinh on June 9.

The organising committee of the Da Nang International Marathon 2016 has offered offline registration at Vietnam TravelMart, 68 Nguyen Thị Minh Khai st. and Da Nang Souvenirs & Cafe at 34 Bach Dang st.

About 5,000 professional and amateur runners and tourists are expected to compete in the Da Nang International Marathon on August 6.

Koji Nishizawa from Japan and Vietnam's Hoang Thi Thanh won the men's and women's marathon (42km) at the Da Nang International Marathon Race on August 30.
