The Japanese government is working to collect detailed information related to the recently concluded second summit between US President Donald Trump and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) leader Kim Jong-un, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga has said.
Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will chair the Mekong-Japan summit slated for October 9 in Tokyo with the participation of the leaders of Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam, according to Kyodo News.
Japan and Thailand held a high-level meeting in Tokyo on July 18 discussing the promotion of multilateral free trade and strengthening cooperation in infrastructure building.
